Last week, Year 12 Health and Social Care students attended a dissection of a pig heart and lungs with Biology teacher Mr Ashfied. Their unit on Anatomy and physiology for health and social care requires them to understand the structure of the heart and respiratory system and this lesson certainly allowed them to get up close and personal!
